Science due tomorrow (Grades 6-9)
Good work on the figurative language this week!

Some Science (Big Buck bonus for telling me tomorrow what type of figurative language that was)

Science on the mountain happens in interesting and varied ways...  especially with six grades!

How long will it take for the water to boil? Will being at over 1500m above sea level have an effect?

Why is the blue stuck in the top? will it reach the bottom?

Thanks for the static charge Evan!

The water is attracted to ebonite rod substitute! Why?

What will happen when concentrated sunlight meets a drop of water on a penny?

Evan found even distribution very quickly when the warm blue was on the bottom...
But when the warm blue was on the top... we are still waiting!
Ask a Grade 4 what happened to the water!

These Grade 6s learned how different bird beaks are suited to picking up different types of food.

Whoa!  Boiling at 80 degrees celsius?

Poor Grade 5s... not their day for a lab :(
